Our law firm's founding lawyer, Ned Barnett, has dedicated his career to being a strong, capable and effective criminal defense attorney like his father, grandfathers and great grandfather before him. He is a native Houstonian who has been practicing law for more than 20 years. Mr. Barnett is a former state prosecutor for Galveston County and a former federal prosecutor for the Department of Justice with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Houston. In 1994, he began defending people charged with DWI.

Knowing that Texas law places serious consequences on DWI convictions, he takes each Texas DWI case seriously. Mr. Barnett is Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is also certified in the standard field sobriety tests and in operation of the Intoxilyzer 5000, tests that police officers use to prove that you were driving drunk. These certifications give him the in-depth knowledge needed to successfully challenge the police in court — getting you the best possible results.
